Honor intends to seed a premium battery pack in the highest storage variant based on the 3C data. It has two batteries—2320mAh and 4680mAh—and a rating of about 7000mAh, with an average value of 7150mAh.

This deal appears to be fairly strong and is almost $1,000 more than the Magic V5 model from the previous generation. Other storage models will probably include a 6700mAh battery pack, with a typical value of 6850mAh, according to the tipster.

The Magic V6, which has the biggest battery capacity to date, is expected to launch as a formidable competitor in the foldable market, according to early leaks. This is further supported by the current listing. For this gadget, Honor might also employ innovative battery technology.

Leaked Honor Magic 8 Air design looks strongly inspired by Pixel 10

Earlier in October, Honor unveiled its flagship Magic8 series of smartphones, which includes the Magic8 and Magic8 Pro. According to reports, it now intends to expand the roster with another gadget. The phone was supposedly going to be released under the name Honor Magic8 Mini. It is possible, nevertheless, that the business will launch the gadget as the Magic 8 Air. A tipster has supplied an allegedly leaked photograph of the Honor Magic 8 Air (or Magic8 Air), which has revealed its potential design, even though there hasn’t been an official announcement yet.

Honor Magic 8 Air design surfaces in fresh leak images

The Honor Magic 8 Air will have a sizable horizontal camera island if the leaked image is accurate. It resembles the Google Pixel 10 series in terms of design. According to the leaked images, it will have a brushed aluminum rear. It’s important to note that this picture is only a render, therefore the real Honor Magic 8 Air can have a different design.

Along with the power key and volume rocker, the device will also have a third physical button on the right side, according to the leaked render. Similar to the key on the previous Magic 8 series devices, there can be a specific key to activate the AI assistant.

Thicker, but lighter than the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge

In addition to the design, the source disclosed information about the weight and thickness of the Honor Magic 8 Air. The Magic 8 Air will have a waist circumference of 6.3mm, according to the tipster. In actuality, it will be thicker than the Galaxy S25 Edge (5.8mm) and iPhone Air (5.6mm). The phone will, however, be lighter than its competitors. Compared to the 165 grams of the iPhone Air and the 162 grams of the Galaxy S25 Edge, it will only weigh 158 grams.

Li Kun, the product manager of Honor, has also posted a picture that compares the Magic 8 Air to the iPhone Air on a scale. It demonstrates the Magic 8 Air’s superior weight over the iPhone Air.

According to reports, it would have a 6.31-inch screen. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor might be used to power it. A massive 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a 200MP primary camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens are possible further highlights.

Magic 8 Air is anticipated to be released by Honor in the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, it will compete with the Galaxy S26 Edge, which is also anticipated to launch at the same time.

  • Honor Power 2 goes official, extreme battery life with an 8,000-nit OLED screen

Honor Power 2 goes official, extreme battery life with an 8,000-nit OLED screen

Recently, Honor has been quite focused about batteries. The company’s new Win series phones, which have remarkably big 10,000mAh batteries, may be familiar to you if you’ve been keeping up with recent releases. These are high-end smartphones featuring Snapdragon 8-series processors.

With its new mid-range phone, Power 2, the business is adopting a similar strategy. Unexpectedly, it also has an even larger battery.

    honor power 2 colors

The Power 2’s casing is only 7.98mm thick and contains a slightly larger 10,080mAh battery. In contrast, the iPhone 17 Pro is 8.8mm and does not even have a 5,000mAh battery. At just 216 grams, it is also not very hefty.

In addition to supporting 80W wired charge, the battery also provides 27W reverse charging.

    Honor Power 2 Specifications

The phone’s big 6.79-inch OLED LTPS flat display, which has a 1.5K resolution of 2600 x 1200 pixels, is located up front. Additionally, the screen’s 3,840Hz PWM dimming and maximum brightness of 8,000 nits are advertised.

The gadget is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite processor, which is combined with UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5x RAM. Honor says that the Dimensity 8500, a new mobile processor, has more than 2.4 million AnTuTu points.

    honor power 2 specs

Additionally, the Power 2 receives a respectable pair of camera configurations. A 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP primary sensor with OIS are located on the back. On the other hand, the front has a 16MP camera. The Power 2’s operating system is Android 16 with a layer of MagicOS 10.

A metal frame, two speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an exceptionally thorough durability rating with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications are further highlights. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, IR blaster compatibility, and sophisticated satellite location are among the connectivity possibilities.

The Honor Power 2’s 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 2,699 CNY (about $385), while the 512GB model costs 2,999 CNY (around $430). Phantom Black, Snowfield White, and Rising Sun Orange are the possible colors for the phone.

  • Global debut for Honor Magic 8 Pro, but the standard variant is missing

Global debut for Honor Magic 8 Pro, but the standard variant is missing

Honor released the Magic 8 Pro smartphone globally, however there is no evidence of the regular version on the global store. Does it indicate the company has introduced the Magic 8 vanilla model only for its home-ground users?

Honor introduced the Magic 8 Pro globally on November 27. The device has been sold outside China in only three colors: Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Pure Black.

The Magic 8 Pro offers the same slim-trim appearance as its Chinese counterpart. The Honor Magic 8 base model, however, is absent from the frame.

Does the business have some further plans relating to this phone variant? Whether it will launch the appropriate item later in the market or won’t unveil it worldwide at all is a key question to be settled. Ahead of that, let’s study the global Magic 8 Pro.

Global debut for Honor Magic 8 Pro

    Magic 8 Pro specs

The Magic 8 Pro global edition weighs 219 grams and measures 161.15 x 8.32 x 75 mm. The gadget has a 6.71-inch OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution (1256 x 2808), max brightness of 6000 nits, and NanoCrystal Shield.

The smartphone has an Adreno 840 GPU and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU. It has two RAM and storage versions (12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB) and pre-installs the MagicOS 10 (Android 16) operating system.

The Magic 8 Pro’s cameras include a 50MP ultra night camera (f/1.6 aperture, 1/1.3-inch, OIS, 4-in-1 2.4µm big pixel output), a 50MP ultrawide-angle camera with 122° wide angle and 2.5cm HD macro shooting, and a 200MP Ultra Night telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom and OIS.

Honor has employed a 50MP selfie camera with a 3D depth sensor for facial recognition on the front face. It includes gorgeous photography settings like the telephoto night portrait to deliver magnificent photos with a delicate skin texture at night.

Meanwhile, the Stage Mode ensures that it maintains up with the intricacy of the stage lights and catches character outlines with precision, irrespective of any backgrounds.

Yes, the battery gets downgraded once more, but only little this time. The worldwide Magic 8 Pro smartphone includes a 7100mAh cell pack with a 100W wired and 80W wireless speedy charging. The rest of the specs are the same as the Chinese edition.

Honor Magic 8 Mini specs leak: 6.31″ screen, 5–6mm thickness, and a bigger battery than expected

Honor might be gearing up to revive something Android fans haven’t seen in a long time: a genuinely compact flagship, Magic 8 Mini, that isn’t a watered-down version of the “real” model. A fresh leak suggests the company is working on what’s reportedly called the Magic 8 Mini, and if the details hold up, it could end up being one of the thinnest and lightest compact phones of the year.

Only in October did the standard Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro arrive, extending Honor’s dominance in the high-end market. However, rumors about a smaller “Mini” variant began to circulate almost immediately. A pre-production unit is already making the rounds, according to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station. It is remarkably tiny, measuring between 5 and 6 mm. That would clearly place it in the “ultra-thin” category among gadgets like Apple’s iPhone Air and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge. However, the combination—not just slim, but truly compact—is what sets this one apart. It is a combination of two trends that hardly ever coincide these days.

Honor Magic 8 Mini specs leak

    Honor Magic 8 Mini specs

The Magic 8 Mini is rumored to have a 6.31-inch display up front, which is essentially the new benchmark for phones labeled as small.

The camera situation is still unclear. Honor is apparently testing a 200MP primary sensor, but a 50MP 1/1.5 sensor is being discussed. The speculated telephoto lens is the more intriguing aspect. Since very few phones smaller than 6.5 inches have significant zoom capabilities (the 6.32-inch OnePlus 13T, for example, only has a modest 1/2.75″, 2x telephoto), if Honor does incorporate one here, it will probably employ a smaller sensor but still give the Mini an advantage in terms of adaptability.

The Dimensity 9500 chip from MediaTek, which powers Vivo’s X300 and X300 Pro, is anticipated to power the phone. Battery life is the only possible issue. There are rumors of a 5,500mAh cell, which is amazing considering the form factor but not nearly as big as the 6,260mAh pack of the 8.2mm-thick OnePlus 13T.

Honor hasn’t made any announcements yet, and it’s unclear if the Magic 8 Mini will share the stage or stay under wraps for a little while longer given that the Honor 500 series will debut in China on November 24. Nevertheless, this might be one of Honor’s more innovative phones if the reports turn out to be true. An “ultra-thin small-screen” gadget could be just what some of us have been waiting for in a market where flagship devices seem to be getting bigger and heavier.

HONOR MagicOS 10 rollout plan: features, eligible devices, and release dates

At the company’s first Global Developer Conference in Shenzhen, China, HONOR unveiled its most recent MagicOS 10 version, which is based on Android 16.

The business is integrating its enhanced HONOR AI Connect platform with its new 1x3xN ecosystem technology with the HONOR MagicOS 10.

This new framework will make their AI stack available to partners worldwide (the “1”), assist them with three enablement tasks (the “3”), and scale across various industry clusters (the “N”), such as office and education, wearables and audio, smart homes, toys, and pets.

The new MagicOS represents a “multi-dimensional jump from a conventional OS to a real AI OS,” according to HONOR.

The enhanced YOYO helper, which is driven by MagicLM 3.0 and can now “see, recall, and execute,” is a significant new feature.

With only one swipe, users will be able to ask YOYO to manage routine chores and workflows. Food ordering, shopping, ride-hailing, Magic Color color grading, and sophisticated command-based image editing are some of these casks.

Additionally, it will provide smooth pairing and transfers across HONOR devices, other Android phones, iOS, and Windows.

It will also feature a brand-new Zero Gravity Transparency Design. It will have translucent visual effects that strike a compromise between performance and aesthetics, just like the upcoming iOS 26.

Honor 500 series leaked specs reveal major surprises and new features

The majority of the important features of the Honor 500 series have been made public by numerous leaks and rumors, but the most recent unofficial specs sheet provides additional insight into the future handsets. The startling details of the new-generation digital lineup are also hinted at.

The new document provides further information about the display panel, chipset, and battery metrics, even if we already know most of the specifications of the Honor 500 series.

First of all, it notes that the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip rather than the Gen 5 version may be installed in the Honor 500 Pro. Conversely, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC will be used in the regular model. The two chips’ core configurations are shown below.

    • Snapdragon 8s Gen 4: 1 core x Cortex-X4 + 7 cores x Cortex-A720
    • Snapdragon 8 Elite: 2 cores x Oryon (Phoenix L) + 6 cores x Oryon (Phoenix M)

Regarding the display, a 6.55-inch LTPO OLED flat screen with a resolution of 2736 x 1264 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz is anticipated for both Honor 500 versions. It might also enable high-frequency PWM dimming at 4320 Hz.

    Honor 500 series leaked

The Honor 500 vanilla model is probably going to have two cameras: a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide-angle lens. Three imaging sensors—a 200MP primary, a 50MP ultrawide-angle, and a 64MP periscope lens—will be included in the Pro One.

An 8000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging may be compatible with both devices. The Pro model may have 50W wireless charging capability, which the regular Honor 500 may not have.

Dual speakers, infrared, NFC, IP68+IP69 dust and water resistant ratings, and the Android 16-based MagicOS 10.0 operating system are possible additional features of the Honor 500 series.

The Honor 500 series is expected to make its debut in December or before the end of current month. The debut date has not yet been disclosed by the corporation. However, we might soon get into specifics on this topic. Keep an eye out.

Honor Magic 8 Pro hands-on: premium design, powerful performance

Honor isn’t spending any time getting its new Magic 8 Pro ready for its domestic China launch this month, even if it’s hard to believe that new flagship phone season has already begun again. My firsthand impressions are based on the pre-production unit that Honor supplied me prior to the launch.

Honor’s Magic OS 10 software, which is based on Android 16, is installed on this China model. It has Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 hardware, a state-of-the-art camera system, a beautiful, elegant design that is lighter than before, and the largest battery I’ve ever seen in a flagship phone – despite the weight decrease.

    Specs and availability

Before making its way to other regions, such as Europe, later this year in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black hues, the Honor Magic 8 Pro will make its debut in China in October 2025.

At launch, the phone comes with a 7,200mAh battery and a single SKU with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Because of European battery size constraints, the European model will come with a 6,270mAh battery.

Honor comes with a clear TPU case, a USB cable, a 100W charger, and a film screen protector already fitted on the phone. Very good deal when compared to other flagships!

New designa and a huge battery

I could sense the difference from the previous year as soon as I took the Honor Magic 8 Pro out of the package. In addition to being smoother than before (in a non-slippery fashion, strange as that sounds), the phone’s soft, brushed metal sides also organically curve into the front and rear of the chassis, offering remarkable weight alleviation over the previous model.

Honor appears to have found a good mix between the flat side trend and a more pleasant set of curves, which is something I dislike about most phones with flat edges. Only the extreme margins of the corners are pushed into a curve, making the display flatter than before.

The new design’s touted feature is a new AI button, which is situated around two-thirds of the way down the phone’s right side. Although it may also be used as a camera control button with swipe-to-zoom capabilities, this long button, which is flush with the frame, is primarily used as an AI button right out of the box.

In China, YOYO video AI can be accessed by long-pressing the button; this capability at least somewhat resembles Gemini Live. Honor hasn’t officially disclosed their plans, but it’s probable that international versions will include this feature with Gemini rather than YOYO.

Additionally, you can personalize a single or double press of this button to take a screenshot for AI memories, start the camera, or open the AI memories center.

I really enjoyed this final feature since it made it simple for me to keep track of facts throughout the day. For instance, I came across a local post about a Harry Potter event that was taking place at the end of the month while perusing Instagram. The screenshot of this incident was saved in my AI memories when I tapped the AI button, and I can locate it by searching for “Harry Potter” in the AI memories app.

These days, my preferred method of finding information is this kind of context-sensitive information searching, which is comparable to the Pixel Screenshots app. You can even request that YOYO “find all my screenshots and eliminate the fuzzy ones” for the Chinese models. If you choose not to utilize it, the implementation is totally ignorable and doesn’t feel intrusive at all.

You will care about the improved battery even if you don’t give a damn about the new AI button. With Honor’s latest silicon-carbon battery technology, which has an incredible 7,100mAh capacity, the Magic 8 Pro has the largest battery I’ve ever seen in a typical flagship phone. Despite this, the phone weighs less than the one from the previous year.

The Honor Magic V5 also featured a comparable capacity increase and this battery technology. This isn’t “empty capacity” or anything because, at the beginning of the third day of my testing, I had barely less than 20% remaining after going two full days without charging. It’s authentic.

    About the camera

Every shot I took with the Honor Magic 8 Pro impressed me on a pleasant fall day. As I’ve come to anticipate from Honor phones, this one performs especially well in motion capture, portrait mode, and with the telephoto camera. It’s not surprising to see that upgraded here with even better sensors because even Honor’s more reasonably priced phones capture beautiful portrait mode photos.

Images captured using the viewfinder’s 2x, 3.7x, or 10x presets are outstanding. The camera performed well in every situation I tested it in, and I doubt I could ask for more from any camera with a zoom of less than 10x.

Honor also emphasizes the phone’s capacity to capture images in difficult lighting conditions, an area where other phones frequently falter. One such moment is The Blue Hour, which occurs immediately before the sun sets.

In addition to the fact that color is typically difficult to capture at this time, longer exposure times are frequently required to obtain sharp images. Comparing the Magic 8 Pro to the Pixel 10 Pro XL, the former passed this test with flying colors.

Furthermore, all of the exciting new toys are buried in the AI processing, even though the telephoto camera has some amazing new stability and low-light characteristics as well as improved dynamic range.

Viewing your images in context is no longer the only use for motion photos. With only two taps, you can add motion trails, turn any motion snapshot into a slow-motion video, or make an amazing stop-motion animation with the Magic 8 Pro’s new AI editing features.

Additionally, Honor is introducing some cool new AI-based recoloring modes, including as Warm Sunset, Golden Autumn, and Romantic Blue, to give your old photographs a fresh look.

Honor Magic 8 Pro – raw power, AI and photography

As the international debut draws nearer, we’ll be discussing the many interesting and fresh announcements regarding this phone. As of right now, Honor’s most recent products are receiving great reviews, and the business is consistently improving both the hardware and software designs, such as the new MagicOS 10 that runs on Android 16.

The MagicOS 10 upgrade plan has been released by Honor, and these are all the models that qualify for the new software rollout. The business has also disclosed the precise release dates for every model, from flagship phones to low-cost phones.

On October 15, MagicOS 10 made its debut alongside the Magic 8 series. The company discovered new AI capabilities and a number of intriguing features with the updated software version.

Honor also released the list of devices that qualify for the MagicOS 10 software update. The new version will be available this month for a few flagship devices, including the Magic V5 foldable, the Magic 7 series, and the digital 400 models.

Later, the new software version will be tested on other phones, such as the Magic V3 series, GT phones, and others. It is likely that the MagicOS 10 rollout will be completed by the first quarter of the next year.

You must participate in both public and closed beta testing in order to upgrade the official MagicOS 10 features. By registering for the Beta Program and downloading the build through Settings > System & Upgrades > Software Updates, you can install the testing versions.

Honor Watch 5 Pro leak shows design, 15-day battery, and blood pressure monitor

The Honor Watch 5 Pro’s blood pressure sensor, ECG, AMOLED display, and 15-day battery life make it one of the year’s more intriguing smartwatches. The wristwatch has already been shown in numerous photos just a few days prior to its release, and Honor has verified the most of its features.

In September of last year, Honor confirmed a few information about the Honor Watch 5 Pro. Honor has officially confirmed the majority of the features and posted numerous images showcasing various smartwatch variations just before the October 15 launch. It appears like at least three variants of the wearable will be offered. The first has a silver case, the second has a black-accented bezel, and the third has a gold case with green accents.

With a metal casing and a bezel adorned with minute indications, Honor chose a watch style that is more or less traditional. On the right side are an extra button and a digital crown. The watch comes with a sports band or a leather band. In addition to complications that show a compass, actively expended calories, and the current altitude, among other things, the images already depict a climbing action.

Honor Watch 5 Pro different version on hand

The most crucial Qinxuan specifications have already been listed by Honor. The Honor Watch 5 Pro weighs 1.8 ounces, has a 46mm diameter, a 0.44-inch thick case, and is water-resistant up to 5 ATM. Honor promotes a 1.5-inch circular AMOLED screen with 466 x 466 pixel resolution and a 515mAh battery that is said to last up to 15 days when fully charged. In the meantime, customers can access the internet while on the go without a smartphone thanks to an inbuilt LTE modem with an eSIM.

The Honor Watch 5 Pro features integrated speakers and microphones, 64MB of RAM, and 8GB of mass storage. The smartwatch’s extensive health functions may make it more intriguing. The Honor Watch 5 Pro can perform an electrocardiogram (ECG), monitor blood pressure, and measure heart rate and blood oxygen saturation, just like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8.

According to new Honor teaser photos, the smartwatch can measure certain things, such as determining whether a person’s blood pressure is too high or too low. The related smartphone app provides advice on how to increase or decrease blood pressure. But, like Samsung, Honor probably utilizes an optical PPG sensor to measure blood pressure, so consumers should consider these readings to be approximations.
